An Early Birthday Present and I've Done My Job Well Seth Says

Papaw and Gramma Bonnie will be in Korea on Penny's birthday so they gave her a present early: a perfect Penny-sized castle.

And I've done my job well, Seth says, because the first thing Penny wanted to bring into her special new place was books.

All of her books.
Seth laughed at me when I read to Penny the day after she was born, but the girl loves her some books and she's already starting to read.  Boom, baby!

How do we get Penny's weight to finally register on the growth charts?

By dressing her in 12 layers of Frankie's hand-me-downs, of course.

Literally twelve layers, including a swimming suit.  That's as close as her arms got to her side and her neck was no where to be found.  She gained an instant five pounds.

Easter....a little late

I know. But Seth had a migraine on Easter Sunday so we stayed home and Penny didn't get to wear her Easter dress so she wore it last Sunday and I know you didn't want to miss that because look...she's beautiful.
And silly.

Here is our real Easter, though. Egg hunt at Pioneer Park.  Penny and Seth totally rocked it.

Easter basket.

Dyeing eggs.

Teddy didn't participate in any of the Easter activities because he's still a newborn and newborns are boring. But I'll post some pictures of him soon.

Hope your Easter was as "hoppy" as ours! Ha, ha....ha.

I need more sleep.

Beauty and the Beast

Okay, that was rude. I shouldn't call Teddy a beast.

But he is.

In his (almost) six weeks of life he's now only one diaper size behind Penny.

But in Teddy's defense, he's only 12 lbs.  I think it might be Penny who's small.
