Those pictures have nothing to do with her first word. I just thought they were cute. Her first word came out as a very cranky sounding, "Mama."

I can't say I'm surprised. She adores that woman.

She is just so happy and smiley

But not if you try to hold her, or look at her, or play with her. Sorry, fam. Better luck with the next one.

Finally

A week shy of 8 months, Penny has doubled her birth weight.

Birth: 7 lbs. 3 oz.
Now: 14 lbs. 8 oz.

Nice.

I got my hair cut today, but not by you. It was by Heidi Booth. She's the secret love-of-my-life haircutter. But she hasn't always been secret. Only since you partially went through hair school. After that you got a little mad if someone else cut my hair. But maybe you could just be the sister love-of-my-life and Heidi could still cut my hair?
